    Jade Cabin is located in Haliburton Forest & Wild Life Reserve on a cleared campsite surrounded by forest and Ivy Cabin. Located about 500 meters up the road from our Moss, Pine & Sage cabins, Jade & Ivy are situated within 50 meters of each other and are conveniently close to trails and Haliburton Forest Base Camp. The location of these two cabins makes them perfect for those who want to book neighbouring cabins with friends or family, with the added privacy of an independent space! Ivy and Jade are identical in design and come with their own fire pit, BBQ and picnic table. (If you are looking for a more remote/private cabin experience, consider looking at our Wilderness Cabins for rent.)
    As part of our partnership with Haliburton Forest & Wild Life Reserve, our guests have access to 100,000 acres of wilderness for each day of their stay. Enjoy over 400km of hiking & mountain biking trails right outside your door from April through November, or take advantage of an included snowmobile pass once the snow falls to access these unique, professionally groomed trails during the winter months.
     
    Please keep in mind that after Deer Hunting Season in mid-November, this cabin is hike-in or snowmobile/ATV access only. We provide a sled and snowshoes for the hike-in, but please note, this is a moderate ~20 minute hike. We recommend packing lightly for the hike-in. However, for an additional fee, guests can opt into our shuttling service from mid-November to mid-March to be shuttled to and from the cabin when they check-in and check-out – no hike required!

    Juniper cabin sits nestled into the landscape overlooking the Fall River in Maberly, Ontario. It’s the ideal retreat for guests who seek a secluded wilderness getaway without having to venture too far off the beaten path. Despite being close to civilization, the cabin is located in an idyllic and private spot (you won’t find any neighbours or cottages in sight). Relax, swim, fish or take our canoe out and explore the connecting lakes in the area. 

    Designed especially for two adults (or small families), Juniper cabin offers a cozy, clean, minimalist, rustic and open-concept design with panoramic windows to bring the natural beauty of this unique, rugged property inside.

    Marigold cabin is located on a magnificent 230 acre property with access to a sparkling blue, spring-fed lake (the result of a former limestone quarry). This incredibly unique and otherworldly landscape is just 1.5 hours from Toronto. This epic location is home to five lakeside cabins, four bunkie cabins in the meadows and six tents located in the heart of the forest. With dreamy desert-like vistas, fields of wildflowers & a diverse forest teeming with wildlife, this property truly has it all!

    All bunkie cabins come complete with their own fire pit, BBQ, picnic table and two Muskoka chairs. Communal lake area access is included with the cabin rental,  and paddle board rentals are available right at the water’s edge. In the winter months, complimentary adult-sized pairs of snowshoes are provided to explore the on-site trails, so all guests can take advantage of this truly epic location regardless of the time of year.
     

    Due to the realities near the quarry at this site and the safety risks involved, we recommend parents of small children take extreme caution when visiting the lake. Pups are also only permitted on specific “pet-friendly” sites. See the “Be Aware” section below for more detail.
